2023年3月6日，西苏格兰大学计算机工程与物理科学学院David Ndzi博士来我院开展为期三周工作访问与交流。

Dr. David Ndzi, from the School of Computing, Engineering & Physical Sciences at the University of the West of Scotland, has begun a three-week visit to our institution for academic exchange and collaboration, starting on March 6th, 2023.

6日上午，苏格兰学院李霄翔院长在苏格兰学院会见了David Ndzi博士。李院长首先代表学院热烈欢迎David Ndzi博士来访，向其重点介绍了学院当前学生培养情况，希望西苏格兰大学加大优质资源对苏格兰学子的覆盖，使苏格兰学子能更加充分地使用西苏格兰大学在线学习资源，同时希望西苏格兰大学提早谋划落实今年秋季学期西苏格兰大学教师来院开展线下教学相关工作。双方还就涉及专业教学的其他事项开展了深入讨论。西苏格兰大学国际中心中国办公室辛格老师，苏格兰学院郑有飞、周暐、蒋学清等院领导及学院有关部门负责人参加了会见和交流。

David Ndzi博士表示西苏格兰大学愿与苏格兰学院一同推进学生培养工作，努力把苏格兰学院学生培养工作做得更加出色。

On the morning of March 6th, Dr. Ndzi was welcomed by the Dean of the Scotland Academy, Li Xiaoxiang, who highlighted the current situation of our student training program. He expressed the hope that the University of the West of Scotland will expand its high-quality resources to cover more Scottish students, allowing them to make full use of the online learning resources provided by the University. He also expressed the hope that the University of the West of Scotland would begin planning and implementing their teachers' offline teaching activities at our institution for the upcoming fall semester. In-depth discussions were also held on other issues related to professional education. Mr. Singh from the Chinese office of the International Center of the University of the West of Scotland, as well as leaders and department heads from the Scotland Academy, including Zheng Youfei, Zhou Wei, and Jiang Xueqing, attended the meeting and exchanged ideas.

Dr. Ndzi expressed the University of the West of Scotland's willingness to work with the Scotland Academy to promote student training, and to strive to improve the quality of student training at our institution.
