权致力，博士，毕业于阿拉斯加大学费尔班克斯分校，在工程方面有多年的研究经历。硕士毕业于阿拉斯加大学费尔班克斯分校，研究方向主要为建立计算机模型来模拟桩引导浮子在船舶停靠和潮汐波引起的动态载荷下的动态行为。

博士期间于INE（北方工程学院）担任 WTC7 倒塌调查的研究技术员。工作内容包括阅读和解释原始竣工图，根据 SAP2000、Solidworks 和 ABAQUS 中的竣工图构建模型并运行模拟，以找出在 9 月 11 日袭击后建筑物如何倒塌。

博士毕业后在阿拉斯加费尔班克斯大学土木与环境工程系担任过教学和研究助理。后于南卡罗来纳州交通部 (SCDOT) 的桥梁设计部门担任助理工程师，工作涉及审查桥梁计划和办公室和顾问工作的计算；主桥设计工程师的设计工作质量控制；设计和起草桥梁和道路结构的计划。目前供职于无锡太湖学院苏格兰学院担任工程管理专业负责人。

Zhili Quan, Ph.D., graduated from the University of Alaska Fairbanks with many years of research experience in engineering. He holds a master's degree from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, where his research focuses on building computer models to simulate the dynamic behaviour of pile-guided floats under dynamic loads induced by ship docking and tidal waves.

During his Ph.D., he worked as a research technician for WTC7 collapse investigation at INE (Northern Institute of Engineering). Work included reading and interpreting original as-built drawings, building models from as-built drawings in SAP2000, Solidworks, and ABAQUS, and running simulations to find out how buildings would collapse after the September 11 attacks.

After graduation, he worked as a teaching and research assistant in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Later worked as an assistant engineer in the Bridge Design Division of the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT), where work involved reviewing bridge plans and calculations for office and consultant work; quality control of design work by the main bridge design engineer; designing and drafting plans for bridge and road structures . At present, he is working at Scotland Academy at Wuxi Taihu University.
